Great opportunity: heavy equipment operator (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Martin County, Kentucky. You will work at a landfill site. You will carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment. Requirements: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery We offer $18 per hour plus benefits.
