Cold room technician • Allegany County, Maryland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cold room technician in Allegany County, Maryland. Your main tasks: • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system You should have: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
