Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Marion County, West Virginia. The job is at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Day to day you will check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
