GTAW welder wanted in McCook County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in McCook County, South Dakota. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On the job you will handle: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces 6+ years on the tools preferred.
