Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety marshal in Linn County, Kansas. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
