You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather The role involves rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area.
