Now hiring: cook (Tennessee)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cook in Knox County, Tennessee. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch You should have: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
