Join our team: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Escambia County, Florida. The role involves: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
