Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Houston County, Alabama. You will be based at a car service centre. Requirements: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres The role involves: • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine 3+ years on the tools preferred.
