Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Greater Bridgeport Planning Region

Now hiring: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Greater Bridgeport Planning Region, Connecticut. Your main tasks: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • A good head for heights for tower crane work Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $22 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
