Powder coating technician — Newry Mourne and Down

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Newry Mourne and Down, Northern Ireland. The job is in a busy paint shop. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes You will inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; degrease and clean metal parts before coating; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations.
