Now hiring: we are hiring a warehouse worker in Northwest Hills Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is at a busy distribution centre. Requirements: • Able to lift up to 25 kg repeatedly throughout the shift • Basic English for reading labels and instructions • Previous warehouse or stores experience Day to day you will operate a counterbalance or reach forklift to move pallets; weigh and measure parcels for courier collection; pick orders from racking using a handheld scanner and pick list; report damaged or short-dated goods to the supervisor; assemble customer orders for dispatch and stage them at the loading bay; wrap pallets with stretch film and apply shipping labels.
