Automotive paint technician • Mercer County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Mercer County, Kentucky. You will work at a dealership paint shop. Your main tasks: • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting What we are looking for: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Good eye for colour matching and blending Full-time, day shift.
