Immediate opening: we are hiring an estate gardener in Nelson County, Kentucky. The job is on a golf course. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish On a typical shift you will lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers.
