Day to day you will carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars; install LED fittings, ceiling fans and exhaust fans; replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings; isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working; size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop. Ideal candidate: • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use • Sound knowledge of IS wiring and earthing standards Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
