Sand plant operator — Montgomery County

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Montgomery County, Arkansas. The role involves tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
