Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Otero County, Colorado. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. The role involves buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided.
