Join our team: we are hiring a dogger in Oluyole, Oyo State. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On the job you will handle: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
