Vacancy available: we are hiring a press setter operator in City of Norfolk, Virginia. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg On a typical shift you will watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts.
