Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. On a typical shift you will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits.
