Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Alfalfa County, Oklahoma. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Your main tasks: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Give each garment a final press before packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
