Road roller operator — Okaloosa County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a road roller operator in Okaloosa County, Florida. The job is on a busy construction site. Day to day you will load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects. Requirements: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Full-time, day shift.
