Health and safety supervisor — Refugio County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Refugio County, Texas. You will work on a high-rise building project. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Day-to-day duties: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges Full-time, day shift.
