Gas pipe fitter — Fayette County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Fayette County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy gas installation company. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces You will purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser.
