Fabricator-welder wanted in Houston County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Houston County, Minnesota. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. On a typical shift you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
