Scaffold fitter wanted in Berkeley County

Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Berkeley County, South Carolina. You will work on a bridge maintenance job. What we are looking for: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang Day-to-day duties: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
