Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Udung Uko, Akwa Ibom State. The job is in a CNC machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels What we are looking for: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
