Now hiring: bar bender and fixer (Jigawa State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Guri, Jigawa State. Day to day you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around ₦800 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
