Urgent requirement: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Adams County, Iowa. You will be based in a gas distribution network. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Your main tasks: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
