Mason's helper — Haines Borough

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mason's helper in Haines Borough, Alaska. You will work on a commercial building project. You will load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Rotating shifts.
