We are recruiting: argon welder (Adamawa State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Maiha, Adamawa State. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Full-time with occasional weekends. ₦11,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
