Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble mason in Macon County, Illinois. The role involves seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar. Requirements: • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades • Own hand tools an advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
