Container truck driver wanted in Mercer County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a container truck driver in Mercer County, Missouri. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. Ideal candidate: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips The role involves: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load Full-time with occasional weekends.
