Join our team: bench joiner (Scotland)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bench joiner in West Lothian, Scotland. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. Your main tasks: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
