Paint and prep technician wanted in Highland County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Highland County, Virginia. You will be based in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Requirements: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale The role involves: • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels Rotating shifts.
