TIG welder • White County, Arkansas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in White County, Arkansas. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day-to-day duties: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Full-time, day shift.
