Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Woodbury County, Iowa. The job is on a commercial construction site. You will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 5+ years on the tools preferred.
