Gtaw welder wanted in Wheeler County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Wheeler County, Oregon. Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
