Great opportunity: we are hiring a presser in Aurora County, South Dakota. You will work at a garment factory. You will give each garment a final press before packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
