Production line inspector • Southampton, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production line inspector in Southampton, England. You will be based in an automotive parts factory. You will operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches. What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. £14 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
