Commercial tyre fitter — Kit Carson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Kit Carson County, Colorado. You will be based at a roadside mobile fitting unit. Ideal candidate: • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Punctual and willing to work weekends • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres Day-to-day duties: • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors 4+ years on the tools preferred.
