Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Rice County, Minnesota. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate On the job you will handle: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Run load and overload tests with test weights 2+ years on the tools preferred.
