We are recruiting: we are hiring a tile mason in Leelanau County, Michigan. The job is in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. On a typical shift you will match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles. Requirements: • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines Rotating shifts.
