Reinforcement fitter • Wayne County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Wayne County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Six days a week, one day off.
