Gas service engineer wanted in Fillmore County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Fillmore County, Minnesota. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Day-to-day duties: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
