Immediate opening: production operative (Alabama)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production operative in Hale County, Alabama. You will be based at an injection moulding unit. Day to day you will set up and start the machine as per the job card; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
