Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel beater in Story County, Iowa. You will be based at a paint and panel shop. You should have: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop Your main tasks: • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
