Vacancy available: mason's helper (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mason's helper in Hancock County, Iowa. You will be based on a building construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean Ideal candidate: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
