Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Taylor County, Georgia. Day to day you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
