Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety marshal in Jones County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Day-to-day duties: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors Meals and transport allowance provided.
